AtlasView

Configurable module of the AtlasView platform

    Custom Asset Management

Every agency owns something the software vendor never thought of. That should not require a change request.

What is the AtlasView custom asset management module?

AtlasView custom asset management lets agencies define new asset types with their own fields, condition scales and inspection forms — bridges, guardrail, fleet, culverts, benches, seawalls — without waiting on a vendor release or paying for a custom module.

This is a configurable module inside AtlasView, not a standalone product. Turn it on when you need it, adjust its fields, condition rules and deterioration curves, and manage it on the same map, reports and work plans as every other module.

    Key capabilities

    Define an asset type

Create a class with point, line or polygon geometry and your own attribute fields.

    Your condition scale

Use a numeric condition score, 1–5, good/fair/poor or a scale you invent, per asset class.

    Custom inspection forms

Build the field form your crews actually fill in, including required fields and notes.

    Same reporting

Custom asset types appear in dashboards, work plans and exports like built-in ones.

    Frequently asked questions

Do custom asset types cost extra?
There is no fee to use the custom asset builder itself. Fees are based on the number of asset types you actively manage. For example, if pavement is your core asset type and you add three additional asset types, your subscription covers four asset types total. Pricing depends on your network size tier — see our Pricing page for full details.
What have agencies built with it?
Common examples include bridges and culverts, guardrail, seawalls, fleet and equipment, tree inventories, and street furniture.
